Here's what you gotta do:
- Download the app HERE on your iOS device (officially supported on iPhone 3GS+, iPod touch with camera with iOS 4+; also worked on my iPad 2),
- Scan all 4 of the characters in the Create an Ecard section of Starbucks' Let's Merry Site (select each one and go to the next step to see the bigger version; wait to do this once the animation is over)
- After you scan all 5 characters, you will receive a notification got a free gift and instruct you where to tap to redeem it and request your email address to send the gift card to.

i don't have an iphone or an ipad - are those devices the only option?
